Donna was born in Santa Monica in 1954 and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. She attended the First Presbyterian Church of Granada Hills for over 60 years. Donna received her BA in Liberal Studies and a Masters in Educational Administration and recently retired last June from LAUSD after 27 glorious years of teaching.
In 2004, in search of a deeper faith experience she began taking classes at the Valley Body and Brain Center in Reseda. Exhilarated by the mindfulness experience and its impact on helping her better live her Christian faith, she began sharing the Body and Brain practice Saturday mornings at First Presbyterian with church and community members in 2010 after completing Body and Brain Master training in 2012.
In 2017, Donna joined Bridges and was instantly excited by the vitality and support of the Bridges network.
Her Bridges ministry involves teaching a Body and Brain class for parents at Nobel Middle School. Donna remains encouraged by the potential for sharing healing opportunities with others as she continues to reach out to those she shares the love of Jesus with in her community.
